RECREATIONAL COACHING POSITIONS
Glenmore Gymnastics is currently seeking motivated, talented, energetic leaders to become part of their coaching team. Qualified individuals will have, or will be in the process of achieving, National Coaching Certification (NCCP) and will have previous gymnastics experience at either a recreational or competitive level. Previous coaching experience is an asset but is not required.
To coach or assist with us you must have and maintain the following documents:
- First Aid/CPR level C certification (If you are not currently certified, we will accept any Red Cross or St. John’s program as long as it is level C
- Alberta Gymnastics Federation requires all coaches and assistants to complete an online course called “Respect in Sport”. It is a free course that will take about 3 hours to complete. Go to www.abgym.ab.ca and click on “courses” and follow the links for Respect in Sport. We will need a copy of your certificate and your Respect in Sport number.
- You are required to submit a police check record. It takes approximately 6 weeks to receive a police check back.
Time commitment is approximately 1 to 18 hours for the recreational program.
