Parkour is a fun new program offered by Glenmore Gymnastic Club. The sport of parkour includes flexibility, strength training, tumbling skills, balance and holds, agility elements, block work, and handstands!
Popularized by television shows such as "American Ninja Warrior", Parkour is a type of physical education and lifestyle that aims to overcome obstacles by moving, running, jumping, and climbing from one point to another in any environment. The person partaking in parkour is a "traceur", which in literal terms means “tracing” or “tracing a path”. Are you interested to try it?
Recreatinal Parkour classes run for 90 minutes one day a week.
